Description

Carry vintage romance wherever you go! This sturdy cotton canvas tote features an exquisite 1940s airbrushed portrait of an elegant couple with parasol, from the Turner Wall Accessory archive.

The Story:
This artwork reproduces an original airbrushed portrait created by Borin Art in the 1940s for Turner Wall Accessory. These pieces were originally airbrushed on cardboard and used as warehouse display samples in Turner's Chicago facility. In 1981, when Turner closed its warehouse, my parents purchased these original cardboard display artworks from the liquidation. Each piece showcases the lost art of commercial airbrush technique—dimensional shading, elaborate costume details, and idealized beauty that defined mid-century American decorative art.

Product Features:

  • 100% heavy-weight cotton canvas (12 oz/yd²) for durability
  • Flat-corner construction for a slim, structured profile
  • Self-fabric carrying handles with reinforced stitching
  • Available in natural and black with a sewn-in label
  • Blank product sourced from India; adult use

Care Instructions:

  • Do not iron directly over the printed area - print may stick to the iron
  • Spot clean
  • Do not bleach
  • Line dry

Perfect for market runs, library visits, or everyday carry. Makes a wonderful gift for vintage art lovers, Valentine's Day, weddings, bridal showers, or anniversaries.
