This framed Turner Flamingo mirror art presents an authentic Turner frame and a 1950s mint original Flamingo print, preserved exactly as produced. The frame was part of a small production run commissioned directly from Turner to replicate the original 1950s style, using ivory and gold pine construction with bagette-style mirrored sides (Turner’s own term for the design).
Each piece has been professionally reframed for preservation and includes:
- Authentic Turner mirrors acquired directly from Turner in 1979, in like-new condition and carefully preserved
- Acid-free primary backing for archival-quality reframing
- Original picture glass glazing from Turner
- 22 × 28-inch frame opening fitted with the 1950s mint original Flamingo print
The frame shows minimal surface wear with excellent overall presentation.
Included with Purchase
Each framed Turner Flamingo artwork comes carefully prepared for collectors and accompanied by:

- An Artist Feature Sheet highlighting the Flamingo artwork and its history within the Turner collection
- A spotlight on another Depression-Era Artist from the Pink Flamingos archive, connecting the piece to the broader story of mid-century American art

Please note that this listing is for an unframed authentic, genuine old print published in the early-to-mid 20th century using quality paper and inks. It reflects the colors and styles popular in decorative accessories of that era. The patina resulting from any minor discoloration or fading is indicative of its age and contributes to its uniqueness.
