This framed Turner Flamingo mirror art presents an authentic Turner frame and a 1950s mint original Flamingo print, preserved exactly as produced. The frame was part of a small production run commissioned directly from Turner to replicate the original 1950s style, using ivory and gold pine construction with bagette-style mirrored sides (Turner’s own term for the design).
This particular piece has a small ding and missing piece of paint on the left-hand side. It is in otherwise excellent condition.
Each piece has been professionally reframed for preservation and includes:
- Authentic Turner mirrors acquired directly from Turner in 1979, in like-new condition and carefully preserved
- Acid-free backing for archival-quality reframing
- Archival quality acrylic glazing that offers UV protection and safer shipping
- 22 × 28-inch frame opening fitted with the 1950s mint original Flamingo print
